Contribuiți la feedbackWe tried this restaurant for the first time and certainly the last time on Valentine's Day, which also happens to my daughter's birthday. So I thought I'd treat her to a Thai food near our house. I lived 40 years in Thailand and just returned to Australia. my daughters are both half thai and half hers. so we are all very familiar with how Thai food should taste and be presented. the restaurant gets a star for the facility and the courteous staff. but that's where it ends. 1) we asked that all foods be delivered at the same time as this is just the way it is done in Thailand. they have no appetizers and then a suppe followed by netzen. everything comes immediately and is eaten together. the server said: Sure, we can do that. Of course, the prawn jump rolls and huh in cocosnus soup arrived first and without even tears. So we waited and waited for the other dishes, at least expected the rice to come along. but no. So I asked the same server where the rest of the dishes were. apologise that they are precursors, although I have specifically asked that everything comes immediately. the prawn jump rolls were common. the chicken in coconut soup tasted nothing like the dish to taste and was sick sweet. it is a hearty suppe, not a dessert! the rice arrived. we were all shocked to find that it was also ill sweet. we were not asked what rice we wanted and served something called coconut rice. fusion food maybe? but no Thai court to be sure. no Thai person I've ever asked. Finally the other dishes we had ordered arrived. a touch-fired hokkien noodle with bark, which was a strange thing on a Thai menu, but the birthday girl wanted to try it. and a Stir-fried beef with thai basil. both courts looked very similar. both were sick sweet and tasted so similar that it was not funny. the Stir-fried beef with Thai basil had even hokkien noodles in it! means that both dishes were cooked in the same sauces and the same pan separated and a few basilikum leaves and a half chili thrown to the Thai basil dish sans the right sauces. hopeless! another interesting point is that none of the employees with whom we interacted can speak thai. not the server that I believe is also the owner, the chef (he served us the touching dishes) or the bartender/cashier. they all talked with unmistakable manglish accented. I also insult the people who waited for the cursed, waited a guy at least all the time when we were there. another, was so angry at having to wait an hour, which he gave the cashier a piece of his understanding and stormed out. In summary, this is not a Thai restaurant in any form of imagination. it tries to mask as one, but done very badly. the eating is certainly not Thai, all the dishes we had were sick sweet, and we were cheated in the ground from a Thai basil dish, but charged for it. I can't for a minute all the glowing reviews. can only assume that the writers have never had Thai cuisine. how the donald would say. fake restaurant.
Blooming orchids is a Thai restaurant. we've been there for a long time. originally it was first class, both eating and service, but last time we went there the take-out, uber eats and other delivery services seemed always preferential. the restaurant. has all classic Thai dishes that are well made. I asked for Gado-gado and the manager recommended to say that it was Thai Gado-gado, not Indonesian Gado-gado. she was right, t was not very good, especially eisberg salat and tomaten, but I warned.
Eating here is delicious and why we always come. Unfortunately, the waiters always have our order wrong, even after reading back and confirming that everything was correct. she took a person on the table and then left. we stopped them, and the second person ordered them, and she went away. we had to stop them. a meal came wrong, but they were very good and fast to correct it. the decor is beautiful and the plates also fit. thema is on the spot. I recommend order take-away to avoid confusion with orders.
I sung here with some friends on a Friday night after work. the decor was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. the menu was extensive. I chose a bun and sweet touch fry with sweet and it was delicious. my friends also enjoyed their meals. we were not rushed by the staff and stayed on the chat well after our meal was over. overall we enjoyed a beautiful evening in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. we will definitely return.
