Tsunami Buffet - Morehead City

It seems there are two types of reviews. You either love it or hate it. Sort by date you see a 5, then a 1, then a different amount of five and more, etc. There were 10 of us and we sat immediately without reservation. There were several big parties, but they had another big table empty. When we sat down, they took our drinks orders. The buffet line is huge. I published 6 sections below, but there are many more, including a large section where you have selected ingredients and they grill them for you hibachi style. Many desserts, vegetables and meat dishes. If you can't find anything you want, then you're really hard to please. It is a buffet breakfast.

The atmosphere was average, but its buffet for something and a lot. It was spectacular. It was expansive, clean, well illuminated and the food arranged as if they hired a food artist! With the exception of fruit, I would suspect that I tried at least 15 of the dishes and was not one of them a disappointment. All were really delicious and well prepared. My favorites were the juicy mushrooms, the perfectly seasoned fried chicken wings and the big mussels on the half shell. Can't wait to get back to the beach!!

Very nice selection of dishes, very clean and very warm staff...satisfied they were open on Christmas day and kept us hungry!
