Longhorn Steakhouse - Morehead City

Ordered two Maverick Ribeye Sandwiches and my husband got a bone shard in his sandwich! Thank God he didn’t swallow it! That was the horrific end of that meal! Luckily we had the delicious Spicy Chicken Bites as an appetizer. Our server was delightful but didn’t even bat an eyelash when we told her what happened.

The steak was cooked perfectly but the excessive pepper seasoning was overwhelming. The fries were well-seasoned and tasty. However, the steamed broccoli was drenched in a fiery sauce that was too spicy for my liking and left my mouth burning. It was so unpleasant that I couldn't eat anything else. Why ruin a dish by adding unnecessary heat? There should be an option for those who prefer milder flavors. Steamed broccoli only needs a touch of butter. I will have to reconsider before returning, as my meal was ruined by someone in the kitchen who has a penchant for spicy food. A good steak, fries, and steamed broccoli should be delicious on their own. What a disappointment.

Even got complimentary birthday deserts and it was wonderful!!! We had Wild West Shrimp, Flo's 9 oz filets, lobster tail, asparagus, loaded baked potato, broccoli, bread, etc... and the ice cream desert in the margarita glasses were such a delightful surprise!!! Everything was perfect and always is at the Morehead City location!!!!!

This steakhouse is amazing... they have everything down to a science when it comes to steak dinners... excellent cooking... there may be a wait, but it's definitely worth it!

Used their take out service...still great food. Hubs said was best burger he had in a while.
