Buffet della Stazione FFS - Morcote

I cannot forget when I go there to have a lunch; it is because the cook is so good in the kitchen, and you can see that it tastes the delicious dishes. All right.

I visited this place for the first time and tried a pizza. I was really surprised by the speed and taste. The dishes came fast and the quality of the food did not fall. Surely I will visit again to try another dish. The service was fast. The waiter was really friendly. It is stationed from the station of Lugano, so it is really helpful if you want to eat something fast while a small break.

Staff are well prepared and polite. They don't ignore you like other places. I just had coffee. I don't know how the food is.

Large pizza and large minestrone soup (large part, unusual for Switzerland), efficient service. Kitchen only opens at 6 pm, but before 6 pm there is already a good selection of foods that can be ordered. We are happy to return to this restaurant next time in Lugano.

The restaurant was located in the old station building, the building has really been maintained well and the interior was modern and fresh. I came to this restaurant as I wanted to eat Rösti and I was not disappointed the Rösti was really tasty and prepared as expected. The resturang menu is very Italian influenced with pizzas, salad, fish, meat and of course Rösti. The prices are acceptable, little higher than in Italy were I arrived from, on the lower side in Lugano. The waiters was helpful, I like the way the waiters was dressed with the same clothing of a proper fancy old resturang style. If you arriving or just stopping by Lugano train station don't miss this gem of resturang.
