Bottegone del vino - Morcote

Average food in a pretentious environment. We came here for dinner, and we felt very unwelcome when we said we had no booking. There were several tables free but we were told we had to go in the glass box veranda outside. We insisted to...be inside but to no avail. From then onwards the service was arrogant and rude. The food is overpriced and average, we only ate half. One of the plates came much later and arrived cold. We will not gone back here again.

A small menu on a chalk board. Staff were knowledgeable but the meal felt rushed as food came out so quickly and our main courses arrived with my husband's starter, so he ate his main course on his own. That said, the food was delicious...and the tables on the terrace are great for people watching.

We enjoyed wonderful dinner and wein in bottegone del vino. simeon, our charming waiter, has made really good recommendations from the impressive wine list. the eating was an excellent quality that we had a fish starter, and the pasta and steak and the tiramisu was delicious....The restaurant has a cozy terrace that is a perfect place for a summer evening.

Limited lunch menu, but nice quality options that make this lunchtime very special. meat fillet perfectly cooked and gracefully prepared with steamed vegetables and asparagus. very demanding local weine, 16 lune, highly recommended. service not short of excellent that made the whole experience. to remember.
