Loard's Ice Cream - Moraga

Shame. Yummy. Delicious. There are so many words I could use to describe Loard's ice cream in Moraga. Quaint. Cosy. Friendly. I'm going in and I'm always welcome with a warm smile. Staff are always so friendly. The milkshakes are phenomenal and the view of the hills in the distance, while you socially distanced din outdoors is incredible. Thank you, Loards Moraga. Also they take GaelFlex which I think is very sponge of them

The staff was very warm and made my visit a great experience. I grew up on this ice, so I traveled with it for an hour and I was not disappointed

Seriously? It's a loard. Many East Bay people grew up on banana columns and orange eaters from here... I'm not different. The flavors are predictably pleasant, the service is always given with a smile, and you can sit down or take cakes, chocolate or candy to go. Rocky Road is made with walnuts... maybe that makes you a fan or maybe not. They have a beautiful peanut butter budget, so there is that, but that probably means that nuts of allergic people are prohibited. Peppermint or banana make for big shakes, but if you want a nice refreshing treat, the orange frozen is the way to go.

I enjoy a quick father/daughter ice cream run during the hot summer. Kids who work the counter are always pleasant. The ube (purple yam) ice cream is my personal favorite.
