Redneck 'meats ' Bbq - Moose Lake

If you want a home cooked meal that will most definitely fill you up like being at grandma's then this is the place to go. Staff was very friendly and it had to be the most patriotic restaurant I have been in ever!!! Makes veterans feel very welcomed!!!

While in Moose lake today, Tam and I decided to grab a quick lunch at this hole in the wall looking place called Red Neck Meats BBQ.Turn out, it wasn’t that quick and the only thing BBQ they have on the weekday menu is pulled pork sandwiches (among other things) but the staff are more than make it up with super friendly smiles and the portions were generous; as in seriously huge!I used to be pretty well traveled so I will say this with all the seriousness of the occasion: the Kansas City style pulled pork I had here was one of the best I’ve ever had.. top 3 for sure and what a pleasant surprise to have such a treat in the least unlikely places.Needless to say, I am looking forward to coming back on the weekend for the more classical stuff because now, I have to know!I’d come back just for the deep fried pickles.. done right.Highly recommended this little restaurant if you are into BBQ.

Great pulled pork BBQ sandwich and very generous portions. Great staff. Spend here! Homemade fries too!

Man do I miss Arts Cafe. Two in our party had biscuits and gravy. It had a weird sour taste with a little spice. Wasn't that good but may of been better if it had been served hot or even luke warm. Pancakes are different, but not bad. Sweetened, so you really don't need syrup. I didn't see any bbq on the menu but I did see a smoker out behind the building puffing away. Maybe they have a different menu? Soda. What the heck are they thinking? $3.50 and says you can get one refill. This place is in Moose Lake not downtown Minneapolis. Come on guys. Don't rape people for a glass of pop. Really disappointing. Man do I miss Arts Cafe.

Very tasty spot for lunch! Dog friendly patio. Nice options on the menu. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back to this place!
