I don't even know where to start.. it was super cold in there, took forever to get our drinks which wasn't a big deal but as the server was walking them out he turned around back to the kitchen and started yelling shut the f up really loudly. (We were there with my kids. The food was hot but I expected the marinara to be at least as good as a jar of ragu, it was not. The lettuce for our salads was limp, not crisp at all. Portions were large but being as the food was not good we didn't even want to bring the leftovers home. To top things off when it came time to pay we gave him $100 bill and he asked what he should do about the change, we told him to bring it to us and we will figure it out. He comes back says they don't have any change for us! So as we are contemplating if we should pay with a card he comes back and grabs the bill still with the $100 bill in it and goes in back and doesn't come back out so we ended up leaving without our change.

Happy to support a (apparently struggling) restaurant in my hometown, and had a pretty good meal. Always skeptical of a very small restaurant that has such a huge menu two full pages! Why not do a dozen or so things really well, rather than try to offer everything?

I was staying nearby and the desk clerk reccomended this place. He told me that while it does not look impressive, the food is very good. He was right on both counts. This is really a neighborhood gem restaurant with nice people and good food. The zupa was outstanding. Some might find is salty, but I loved it. The penne Alfredo with chicken was quite good. The (included with the meal) soft serve ice cream was a nice surprise. Worth a try if you are in the area.

Absolutely the worst manager ever! Deena the woman who answered the phone after we ordered $40 worth of food and got really poor quality food and the portions were child sized at best the order was placed thru an online service and specifically were given instructions on how to prepared the food including condiments and how to cut the food prior to boxing it for delivery. Was not completed to any satisfaction the Burger was dry and over cooked there was no condiments and the potion of fries was a child's 3 ounces cooked portion since Deena if that is her real name: claimed they portion out every order to weight, I weighed the fries! The meat ball sandwich was not cut as requested and once again a 3 ounce portion of fries! This is not $10 worth of food and that is what you charge for 3 ounces of fries and a subpar at this point sandwich. And to add insult to injury the bruschetta I ordered had four small bagel chips of bread and the toppings I requested be separated were still all put into a great deal of balsamic instead of separated and I was quite specific in detail on how to prepare this specific dish to be delivered the online company did their best but the staff who is in charge at Altonys today is just so not the character of the people who started this restaurant. We had been loyal customers from when you first opened in dilworth and am flabbergasted that the great business you built up is being run by some one so rude to yell at your customers over the phone and to tell those customers to go to h--l the behavior is just unacceptable and abhorrent. I hope you and your family have actually sold the business because if your kids and the rest of your lovely family still owns the restaurant I can not say I will ever come back to your store; the woman who was responsible for your store today was disrespectful and crude to a loyal over ten year customer because her staff made mistakes on the food she sent out for delivery simple as that. The entire issue could have been resolved by fixing your mistakes but you chose to be threatening crude and foul mouthed so I will be sure this and all social platforms I am a part of are made aware to not visit your restaurant so long as Dana deana or how ever you spell her name is a part of the restaurant she does you a disservice.

Fantastic service with friendly staff, and the portion sizes are impressive. The menu offers a manageable variety, making it easy to make selections. The drinks are also excellent. It's a family-friendly spot, especially since kids eat for free on Sundays. Their daily specials are delightful too. I can’t wait to return! A bonus is that if you don't finish your meal, you’ll have leftovers to enjoy for a couple more meals.
