Stray Cat Cafe - Moorefield

The food was tasty, but the wait for it was extremely long, as it usually is here. Our waitress didn’t even check in to see if we wanted a refill at any point. This was the worst service I’ve ever encountered. It's important to hire waitstaff who truly value themselves and their customers!

Good food, good drinks, a little divey, but that's what I love about it. The place has great charm.

Stopped before a football game. We waited to be seated and were blatantly ignored. When I asked a server where to sit she said I was talking to my friend. We haven 't seen each other . Ordered drinks and sat, and sat, and sat. Waited an hour and a half and still didn 't get what we ordered. Food was horrible and the bill for 2 of us was $40.00. Didn 't get to the game until halftime and they didn 't care. I don 't often give one star but it was warranted.

I love their deep fried Chimis. The seating is a bit uncomfortable, but tolerable. The atmosphere is ok, but the lottery tv is annoying. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The food is always good. It definitely needs an update to the furnishings. I returned for another meal. I had the fried chimichanga (it is my favorite here). The food was delicious. I like their rice and beans, because they are not the usual mushed beans and bland rice served by the majority of restaurants. The service was outstandind and the atmosphere more pleasant. I will definitely visit again.

If you're looking for a bar-like atmosphere, this is the place for you. It's a bit on the dingy side, but as I mentioned, it is a bar. There is some restaurant seating that looks nice, although I haven’t tried it. They offer pool tables, a large bar, and consistently show keno and sports programming. It's also family-friendly! The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is excellent, and they have a decent selection of beers. The menu features Mexican-style dishes with daily specials throughout. The food is pretty much what you would expect, but I rated it low because it doesn’t stand out as anything particularly special.
