Brighton Lakes Kitchen - MOOREBANK

Last night we celebrated my father's 50th birthday party, and we were absolutely blown by the service of both the kitchen staff and the club staff. The function room was perfectly set up, as we chose the canapes menu. We were permitted to bring our own balloons and decorations for the tables, to give the room our personal touch. Everyone came in and commented on how great the room looked and the location of the club. A special thank you to Ulie (the chef) for the fantastic food. Many of our guests complemented the food that was served during the evening and left the party completely full. Thank you to Jack for constantly checking in, to see if we were pleased with everything. A huge thank you to Maddy, who worked tirelessly behind the bar all evening. We would highly recommend this venue for any function, as we left completely satisfied with the service that was provided. As regular customers at the club's bistro, we can recommend the food as it is always plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced.

Yesterday was an amazing day celebrating my mum's 90th birthday at the restaurant. We had over 70 guests who all had a great time with no complaints. Everyone loved the function room, which was well designed with cozy couches around the room. The food was fantastic, with some guests even saying it was better than a recent wedding they attended at Doulton House. Some guests are now considering booking their upcoming events here because of the great experience. The staff, including Christine and her team in the kitchen, the waiters, and Shae at the bar, were all fantastic and always had a smile on their faces. We had King Prawn Cocktail for entrée and Veal Backstrap for main, both of which were delicious. Even the children's meals were plentiful and the vegetarian options received great feedback. We often dine at this restaurant on Friday nights, and now our guests want to join us too. Thank you to all the staff who made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing, and we left feeling stress-free and happy.

The food was fantastic and the staff at the bistro were very accommodating with vegetarian options. The bar staff were always friendly, making it a great spot for lunch, dinner, or drinks with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course.

I have only positive things to say about this restaurant. The first time I visited, it was with my coworkers and we were warmly welcomed by two friendly staff members at the reception. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's impossible to please everyone, so I recommend coming in and forming your own opinion.

It's refreshing to find a place serving real meals! Flavours are as how it should be, generous portions sizes, straight forward menu descriptions, very affordable, great clean spacious atmosphere and a lovely group of staff! Do yourself a favour and try this gem of a place, it's a keeper!
