Desi is a family run local business they are lovey friendly people very popular venue in the community, I go there regularly with friends or family and they went above and beyond to accommodate us at short notice for my daughters 50th birthday when the original venue had a power cut and failed to inform us and the food is always good

Desi still remians an excellent choice if you're looking to stay local with winlaton/blaydon area. The food is lovely and there is a great choice of dishes catering to value for money or something more fancy if it's a special occasion. They offer early bird specials during the week, there's a specials board and they also do a very nice sunday roast. Staff are lovely and the place has a lovely atmosphere. It is quite small and so I would recommend calling ahead if you have a larger party. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available within the pizza, pasta range. You may need to speak to a member of staff about the specials etc. Parking: The restaurant doesn't have parking but there is a small carpark nearby and limited parking on the street as well. They've recently changed the look of their menus and prices which honestly price wise is great and the do take away not delivery tho! If you want something special my go to is always the Pallo crème I love it!Parking: There is a small car park around the corner but it's well worth the tripWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible as there is steps to go in.
