Contribuiți la feedbackI had the best traditional Cornish pasty ever in Australia. For those unfamiliar, a traditional Cornish pasty is filled with minimal meat and lots of vegetables. While I wish there was more swede in it, overall it was excellent.
After reading numerous fantastic reviews, we had high expectations for the homemade Cornish pasty at the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was just average. It was tasty and a good size for $5.90, but nothing extraordinary. It was served hot and looked nice, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. There was more vegetables than meat in the filling. The coffee was mediocre, and I wished I had ordered tea instead.
We tried a meat and a herb-filled Cornish Bakery pasties (also known as a flowing oggie) and they were delicious. The shortcrust pastry was light and the fillings were flavorful. Highly recommend trying them if you are in Port Moonta.
Immersed in cornish bakehouse on our last stay in wallaroo. a few of our family members are vegetarian and that was no problem, the service was friendly, the pasties were amazing. I also recommend the vanille disc, its one of the best ive...everyone had
That's the second time we eat in the cornish kitchen. the first time around the service food was great. this time, the food was still good, but we found the service abruptly. the individual is obviously not in older people. we heard them screwing up a busload of oldies yesterday. her behavior was similar rude by asking the group before us in a rough ton “Have them decided what they want”. we also improve how the service improves when serving well known locals.
