Segovia - Moonachie

The food was decent, but the service was quite poor. We thought our waiter had disappeared for the night, as he only came back after our drinks were empty and lukewarm. The tables were too close together, which made for a cramped atmosphere. We ended up just ordering water. I’ve had a much better experience at Little Ferry, where there's more space and a better overall layout.

We arrived for dinner at 5 PM to ensure we could secure a table for five. We were seated promptly and ordered two bottles of red wine: a Martinez Lacueva 2018 Crianza and a Coto de Imazo Gran Reserva 2016. We also ordered some tapas, including octopus and clams with oregano, along with our main courses. I had the veal Castellana with artichokes in a creamy wine sauce, paired with a green salad. The food was fantastic—generous, family-style platters. My wife chose the grilled pork chops with rice and steamed vegetables, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

I used to come here for the paella, but this time I ordered the asparagus, and I was really disappointed with the portion size for $10. Service was for takeout.

This traditional Spanish restaurant is always bustling with diners! The food is absolutely delicious, featuring dishes like lobster paella, skirt steak, porterhouse steak, and chicken parmesan. The sangria is incredible, and I have to say the stuffed lobster is my favorite!

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for nearly 30 years, and I’ve never been disappointed! The food is outstanding, and the staff is equally wonderful. The dessert they brought out was delicious—cheesecake, gooey chocolate chip, espresso martini, and tres leches martini. This barely captures what this place has to offer! Forget about the other Segovia locations and don’t waste your time; come to the original. It truly is the best of the best!
