Ancient Monzese pastries famous for its pastries and cakes. It is also remembered for some local sweets such as the Easter cake and a dessert that was once given as a rest when buying the tram ticket. The place is nice, a little old, with an interior room. Prices are high, but justified by the level of products
Historic pastry of the city, great quality, excellent raw materials, renovated place with corner bar... all impeccable....but a punctuation must be done.... I ordered panettoni and pandori for my clients.... 660 euros of shopping... I am allowed to ask for a pastry to taste....I didn't expect it to be given, but at least the gesture to offer it after spending that figure. The pastry was put on top of the receipt in the account. I found it all embarrassing, vulgar and shameful. More specific... for 3 years that in the Christmas period I entrust myself to them for the purchase of Panettoni and Pandori to give to all the customers of my company.. besides being a regular customer for coffee or breakfast...not an occasional customer. Too bad. We'll never see you again.
From the web I learned about the Bona pastry shop in Monza, reviews were talking about one of the best pastries in the city. I decide to buy at the counter 10 baba small to rum. Apart from the stratospheric price well 20 euros i.e. 2 euros each) the baba were practically unmangiable, rum straps to so far that I had to throw them. I don't know if it was a mistake or that's the standard of baba produced by the pastry shop : Not to mention the crazy price of € 42 per kilo)
I've been seeing the club for many years when the bar area has not been active yet. For me quality has always been high and continues to be.
