By son and I were visiting out of the area and decided to support this small business. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice the establishment looked. The chairs were comfortable. The staff is diverse as was the customer base. The food was also very good. The only problem we had was the service. It took quite a while for us to get service. We kept being told that someone would be with us shortly and then the same waitress asked about 15 minutes later had anyone assisted us yet. It was like neither waitress wanted to serve us. I am not sure why as we were properly attired and spoke proper English. When we finally received service, I noticed the waitress appeared to be a bit 'cold ' in her demeanor. However, the table that was adjacent to ours was shown the opposite demeanor. She frequently visited there table and conversated with them in a light-hearted manner. She checked on us less frequently. When she did, it was the same 'cold ' demeanor. She finally was warm and friendly after we paid paid the requested tip amount. I believe she nor the other waitress wanted to service our table because they were indulging in those old tropes when it comes to a certain race not properly tipping. It is for this reason we will not patronize this establishment again when we are visiting the area.
In town for work, so I decided to eat what the locals eat as I normally do when traveling. Came in and was greeted by my friendly waitress and was seated right away. Felt like an at home atmosphere, which added to my liking. After looking over the menu, I decided to go with the Chicken Philly with mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The mozzarella sticks were great, and the chicken philly was as well!!
I’ll start off by saying, this is by far some of the best pizza I’ve ever ate. When I first walked in I was greeted by a smile from a lady upfront who asked if I had takeout and proceeded to ask for my name. Customer Service was great and I was in and out. Also they have Ranch 50 cents and larger size which is a dollar. The dollar size is the perfect amount. Considering my pizza was already done and I had to drive back home I was expecting my pizza to be cold. Not only was it still a little warm but that first bite……amazing. I’m usually the person to order pizza with extra sauce but it was just the right amount. The pizza is pretty big so one with like 3 or 4 toppings is enough for the average person but I had two slices with fries because this was a big back day for me. The FRIES, they give you an entire carton/plate of fries. Not that little small container thing so if you worried about the portion for the price please don’t, it’s more than enough and I had to put half up for leftovers. I have only three complaints and I honestly it’s a reach lol but I’m real on my reviews. One, the ranch was a little watery but if you prefer your ranch that way then you’ll love it. Two, no napkins but it might’ve been a napkin dispensary somewhere that I just missed. Three, the fries are kinda greasy but some people like heavy greasy food so if that’s your thing than so be it. Overall this has been the best pizza I’ve had in a while and totally worth it if you’re looking around for great pizza. Two slices two toppings and fries I spent about 16$ promos for first online order brought it down to 14$
Took a chance on Capriccios and it paid off! Visiting from out of town. I’m a born and raised Tri state italian gal and I’m a harsh critic. I was super pleasantly surprised, this pie was delicious! I took it to go but restaurant had lots of seating and seems like a great place to dine in. Wings were perfectly coated (for my taste). Can’t quite give 5 stars only because I prefer a fluffier crust, this pizza is as thin as they come.
