The Shanty Ii - Montrose

What a great find for brunch. Rootsy and full of locals expect basic dining stalls (Kozy!!) and fast efficient service. I was happy to see some vegetarian options including a house made veggie Burger Patty. It was really good with beautiful taste and texture (not mushy . Served with perfectly prepared fresh cut frits. Waitstaff was a little forgotten, but it was a busy vacation so that is forgiven.

Grabbed breakfast after a VERY early flight enjoyed the huevos rancheros, chorizo scramble, seasonal fresh fruit and coffee.

I ordered a breakfast burrito, it was smothered beautifully with their pork green chilli. The taste was excellent and portion for price is good as well. Recommend these guys definitely.

After spending eight days in Telluride and Mountain Village, my family and I stopped at this restaurant on our way to the airport. It was undoubtedly some of the best food we had during our trip. The prices were much more reasonable compared to the $200 average meal in Mountain Village. I highly recommend stopping here for a meal. The food is excellent—I had the tacos, and my son ordered the burrito.

The service here is outstanding. The staff is extremely polite and frequently checks in to refill your drinks. The food is also fantastic! Don't miss the loaded cookies and gravy; they're absolutely delicious.
