Fresh Sacchetti here is to die for! I loved it! We also ordered 3 of their wonders and french onion soup... And we also loved them. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. Just beware of their portions thou... Their portions are a little as compared to how much they cost. Other than that, it was a great experience dining here.
My wife suggested this place due to reviews she'd read, but I was doubtful. It is attached to a hotel...a nice one mind you. Nevertheless, the decor was funky modern with nice ambient and what I would call a quirky layout. Some tables for two, some for four...and these neat banquettes which could be for eating or lounging. A multipurpose spot that really seems to work. The food, however, was the star! I had scallops with a. Apple glaze for an appetizer while my wife had the shrimp salad with a citrus dressing. Both were spectacular. Original, yet simple flavours done well. Out mains were amazing as well. I had a basmati seafood risotto that was like nothing I'd ever tasted (though the lobster tail was over cooked). My wife had the salmon which had a spice rub on a Israeli couscous and a salsa of sort around it, very good! Wine list was brief, but very good with reasonable prices for a bottle. The service was professional and courteous. Which was a welcome surprise considering how young the hostesses servers seemed. The only complaint was that it was a bit loud. But, it also doubles as the hotel bar. So I can't knock the place for the wisdom of a restaurant pulling double duty. Definitely worth a visit.
I went to this restaurant for Taste Montreal. Before that, I didn't even know that it existed. The whole evening was perfect. The food was simply amazing and delicious. The service was on point. I had the chance to peek at their normal menu and it looked pretty decent. I will probably be back to try it on another day.
My brother and I took our parents out for my father's birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality. We expected for it to be above average, but the service, portions and flavouring were quite exceptional. My parents are very picky eaters and they enjoyed their pork ribs a good deal. My brother's lamb over pasta was astronomical in size and taste, and the fish I had was perfectly cooked. We went for Montreal a Table, so the pricing was amazing. Given the quality food we ate, I would be willing to come again on a regular night.
