Diner 118 - Montreal

This restaurant name chez leon, is now diner 118, as it is on the D118 road between carcassonne limoux and has changed the decoration to become an american diner. we have been regular customers since 2007 and usually visit...lunch we love to go through the wee mountains of preixan and see the changing colors of the beautiful landscape. we visited last on sunny Thursday in november for lunch and chose the set menu for €13, which includes house wine (preferably the rose to red). for the main course, I had huh in a mushroom sauce my man had a toulouse. we had chips and bores that were delicious and well cooked. followed a cheese course with a selection of goat cheese or salt liquor and then we had a selection of sweets. we both chose the chocolate mousse, delicious! this is a family-run restaurant and we had a coffee at the bar after that before we went back to preixan. a wonderful lunch with good food and friendly service. we'll be back soon!

This place is right downstairs from my hotel so I decided to try it out.

I like this place, prices are very correct, excellent food, ideal for a meal between pots or family. Okay the outside is not top but the decor in it is searched and really top. The concern for me is the service that lacks dynamism and professionalism. Wine too, we were offered a rosé wine of 2013, 4 years old for a rosé and it was really bad generally it is year less to see two but not older. I also think it's pretty cool that it's a family business and that desserts are homemade.

The interior American decor is superb. burgers are surprising and delicious. The boss is very welcoming. a very good original restaurant !!!
