Contribuiți la feedbackAfter visit some sushis in Montreal this is a good one, unfortunately no uni, and the hamachi was so so, but salmon, phoenix roll and some special cones that the chef prepared to us were very good.
Another Chinese owned Japanese restaurant. Fish taste ok since there are only 3 piece of fish sushi for my 14 pcs combo, rest of them just avocado, cucumbers, fake crab meat. If they statement only 3 pcs fish sushi comes with it , I would never order it. Sushi rice taste like nothing, I wasn't even finished my meal two waiters came to me try to grab my plant without even asking me lol I won't come back to this place.
If you're looking for a Japanese restaurant for a celebration or special business dinner sho-dan is a good choice. We went for an office celebration and asked the waiter to bring the most popular choices from their specialty sushi choices for our table of 8. The Atlantis and Besame were the table favourites. All were very good but lacking s Little something to send them into the excellent category. Beef teriyaki was also ordered for non fish eaters. Portions are a little small for the prices. Sushi roll of 8 pieces can be over $20. The chocolate tempura sushi with ice cream and amaretto was a huge hit. Dinner for 8 with wine, tax and tip came to $800
Excellent presentations and great quality food. We go often and never look at the menu, we let the chef do as he wishes and it has always been a wonderful surprise. The dipping sauces are unique and not to mention the freshness of the fish.
My girlfriend and I went here on our first night in the city and we were impressed. We started with the Tempura, which was amazing and continued with avocado roll for her and the California roll for myself. We were concerned at first since it took a bit for our waiter to come over to get our order, but he did have a number of large parties and eventually made his way to our table. Overall, very satisfied with his service.
