Sho-Dan - Montréal

The sushi was really good. Great for a business lunch or a diner with friends. The fried hazelnut chocolate desert (basically fried Bueno bar) is DELICIOUS

I've had both really good and really not-so-good meals at Sho-Dan. I've been part of larger groups where the food has been less than mediocre. Some of their sushi plates are quite good, but you really have to know which ones.

Dined at Sho-Dan on recommendation fr the concierge at our hotel. Did not know what to expect as very cautious when eating Sushi. We started w/Sushi Tempura - excellent Then Wakame Salad [seaweed-] excellent/fresh enuf for both of us.Hubby had Teriyaki- steak/lots of veggies w/rice...he loved it. Veggies out of the garden/fresh. I had 2 Appetizers 1 Haru Maki [spring rolls]

I ordered for take-out online and the restaurant called me back right away to confirm my order and to let me know when it would be ready.I arrived a bit early and was greeted right away. I didn't have to wait long before the order was ready. The sushi was fresh and flavourful. While I didn't dine in, the atmosphere looks very nice.
