We didn't intend to come here, but the two other places we tried were full. The restaurant was large with a great atmosphere, but the food reminded me of typical chain-restaurant fare. While the presentation was good, the food and service were mediocre. Why pile so much coleslaw on a chicken burger?
Whenever I order takeout chicken from this restaurant, it always turns out too dry. Sometimes it's so dry that it's not even edible. I always ask for chicken that is not dried out, ideally fresh out of the broiler. I understand that this may not always be possible, but I think the issue may be due to the chicken sitting out for too long before it's served. On the bright side, the fries are really good.
I love Rotisserie St-Hubert. Coming from Ontario were we are stuck with Swiss Chalet, going to St-Hubert is always have us always assured to eat some delicious rotisserie chicken. The chicken and the fries were just as good as they always are. The buns looked like they had known better days. They clearly were toasted in advance and missed that crisp that one would expect. Tables were not as clean as they should be.
The chicken is very good, I must say. But the service was king of disappointing. We havent' finish our starters that the main course was on the table, wtf. The waiter was weird, but we enjoyed our meal nevertheless.
