When you have traveled, are tired and hungry and just pick a place as you are walking down the street...what a treat to discover this unassuming restaurant. We shared a Pad Thai with pork and a Pho with shrimp and chicken both were quite tasty. I have to say, what made both dishes were the meats. The meats were clearly grilled with a wonderful smokey flavor. We visit this area from time to time so we will return!!!!
We had spring roll, salad roll and special pho. Total 23. The rolls are tasty but small. Pho soup doesn’t seem to have msg. Not bad but not super great.
Pho Ga/Vietnamese chicken noodle soup can be so bland but this restaurant does an excellent job. Their Grilled Meat vermicelli dish (Bun Cha Ha Noi) is a must try
I went with a friend at noon on a Saturday, thinking we had to wait. When I got there, it was like 25% full. My friend and I had ordered the chicken pho with vegetables, one large and one extra large. As the waiter left, I saw that my friend had ticked off medium for me in stead of extra large. I caught t’hésiter in time to make the correction. As I sit back down, not more than 1 minute do these large phos come to us. It was hot, but did not stay throughout the meal. As my friend took the first bite, he asks me to try the chicken. Ugh. First it was white meat, second it tasted like it was fried to the night before. That is a turnoff. I did order spring rolls, as for my low 2 stars. Probably never again.
