La Belle Thailandaise - Montréal

Its ok i guess when u want something quick, but its definately not the best quality there is.

I was between a 2 or a 3 star review for this restaurant.

It's a cute BYOB restaurant near Mont-Royal metro, good place if you're looking for inexpensive dinner place.

You will see from my other reviews that I tend to be an upbeat reviewer. I was so disappointed with my meal here. I ordered Green Papaya Salad and Pad Thai. I should start by saying the Papaya Salad was perfectly good. The Pad Thai was horrible. I just don't understand why they would call it Pad Thai. It was sweet, pinkish and overcooked. I took a bite or two, had my compatriot try it and then did something I never do, I let them know I couldn't eat it. I was told I could order another dish but if I sent back the Pad Thai I would be charged for it. Thought about it, didn't order another dish and sent back the Pad Thai. When we got the bill it had been discounted so that was good, but I was still charged. My friends meal was just ok. All this to say if you want Thai in Montreal there must be better places to go.

Good food, we have good experience every time we go there, me and my friends There is just one waitress so if by any chance you go there in a rush hours you have to wait a bit. In general good place for dinner ( you can bring your wine)
