Restaurant Chasse Galerie - Montréal

The service was the best part of our dinner experience. The food was less than average and although that I am not a cook, it can be better than at home. The price was high enough that we should have a better experience. The decor is really much, but I would have overlooked that if the food had been at a decent level.

Overall a very good experience. Enjoy the simple but warm ambience. We had the d’hote/prix fixe menu. Each course was very good and very original with the exception of the Beef Wellington, who was overcooked a tad and a little on the cool side (although still delicious). The wine pairings were interesting and complicated every course well. Our 3 hours there felt like 1.5 hours. A sign that we had a great time, I think! We would return to Montreal the next time.

Very special menu from includes local ingredients. Wine list is wonderful. Perfect spot for delicious casually elegant dining.

The 7 course meal was exquisite. Each dish was full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent.
