Restaurant Bon-D - Montréal

We found this charming and funky restaurant in a culturally mixed neighborhood. We started off with an appetizer of oysters --- on special at $1 each. I enjoyed the lapin with gnocchi with a delicious sauce and my husband enjoyed a red beer with the pave de boeuf and frites. We both really liked the bread served with a home-made spread made with red peppers --- like hummus but more elegant. Price was reasonable and the atmosphere was casual. The funny thing was the rest rooms were designated in French only with the letter F for women and H for men. For a customer not knowing the language, I saw him going into the women's washroom and waited for him to come out and told him. He was totally embarrassed and apologized profusely. Maybe the restaurant could add some kind of graphic to help the customers who don't read French.

It's my favorites brunch restaurant near my home. It's a good place to have different kind of breakfast, but i'm really like all their pancake, crepes and french toast.

Excellent service, delicious, well-prepared inspired offerings - most locally-sourced.They smoke their own meats - you can't go wrong with any of their duck options. Have not done their brunch yet, but the creativity on the lunch and supper offerings is impressive. A bit pricey, but the rapport quality/price is very fair indeed.

On Masson street, in the heart of the Old Rosemont area, this restaurant offers delicious food, nice atmosphere and very kind service. Our meals were very good and the price, quite afordable. Moreover, during the summer, the terrasse is convenient and confortable. An very interesting discovery! They don't accept online réservations. curtomers have to make them by phone.
