Contribuiți la feedbackAlmost perfect Italian-style pizza, though it's not quite like what you’d find in Naples. The crust isn’t thin enough and isn’t baked at 450 degrees for 90 seconds. However, the pizzas are still very enjoyable, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy. I definitely plan to return.
"Mid" is the word that kept coming to mind during my visit. We waited a solid 25 minutes for our pizzas to arrive, even though the restaurant was only half full. When they finally came, the pizzas were slightly burnt. Our waiter spent most of his time sitting at the bar, chatting with other staff members, and he seemed indifferent to our needs—like whether we wanted more water. I decided to try the tiramisu for dessert, and while it was tasty, the portion was small and messy, definitely not worth the $10 price tag. Overall, with the meal costing over $30 per person after taxes and tips for just pizza, I won't be returning.
The pizzas are delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing. This place is definitely one of the best in the city.
Pizza here is f-ing phenomenal. The staff is super attentive. The Margherita we ordered was just perfect, with fresh basil et al.
In my pre-celiac era, Magpie was my top pizza spot in Montreal. When I worked close by my co-workers and I would go almost weekly for a while.Post-celiac diagnosis, I was sad to let go of one of my top spots in Montreal. That was until I discovered they have gluten-free cauliflower crusts and take celiac pretty seriously!All their pizzas are incredible. And their cauliflower crust is equally awesome. Highly recommend stopping in!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options.
