Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant is located on St.Lawrence Street and we discovered it on Wednesday night. We were the only customers of the place during our dinner. the server was very courteous but only in English. the decor is simple but everything is very clean. The menu is quite complete and prices are more than reasonable. It's a typical restaurant bring your wine, so you save even more. However, we offer beer glasses to put your wine. a wine cutting purchase would be considered. We chose the chicken with a tahi butter at $12. The meal was served in a metal bowl like several Indian restaurants, but the portions were very suitable and the delicious food especially the butter sauce that blends well with rice. We took all our time to eat and enjoyed the atmosphere with the small Indian music in the background. It should be noted, however, that in passing note, the cash payment was the only way to settle and there was a letter saying that this would be so for the whole week. it would be better to bring you a little cash if you go to this place in case.So this restaurant is suitable for Indian cuisine lovers who are looking for reasonable prices and good food
I had a hard time finding decent Indian food in Montreal. Everything I have tried so far has been blargh and expensive. Then came Palace Taj.I have serious cravings for this place every 2 weeks, and it hits the spot every time. The meat dishes are amazing (the lamb melts in your mouth and all the sauces are perfect- I could drink them), the mattar paneer is so tasty (all the paneers are, in fact), and the mister and I fight over the aloo gobi. The samosas are delicious, but the pakoras are hit or miss: when good they are REALLY good, when bad they seem reheated. The price is a touch higher than what I am used to in Ontario, but it is totally worth it. The quantities are decent and we typically have leftovers. Highly Recommend!
