We went out for dinner the other night and I must say, everything was great. We started with 2 Miso seafood soups, followed by their delicious Beef Sashimi and an order of Odori Wonton (6) peanut butter dumplings. Next, we ordered sushi pizza, which was 6 delicious pieces. Finally, we shared a boat of 25 assorted sushi pieces. We were too full for dessert. Parking was not an issue this time, but it may be on weekends. Enjoy!
We arrived at Sit and were quickly seated by our waiter. After looking over the menu, we both started with a bowl of seafood mano, which was very good. Next, I had one of my favorite dishes, the Beef Shashimi, with beautiful thin slices of filet mignon in a delicious Ponzu sauce. My wife ordered the Odori Wonton (6), which consisted of peanut butter pork dumplings. Our sushi boat arrived with 25 pieces of a beautiful assortment, including a special roll called Ying Yang, made up of seven crispy pieces of tuna, salmon, and garlic sprouts with Shiso Sesame sauce. Everything was great and we ended up taking 10 pieces home. We finished our meal with some green tea ice cream. We cannot wait to go back and enjoy more!
I had another delicious dinner in Oishii Sushi. The food is amazing, the prices are reasonable (which is expensive, but it is good quality sushi, so it is normal), and the service is excellent. The decor is a bit generic, but it is well done. Thank you to the cook when you go, he's really nice! A family business, highly recommended. 10/10.
This was a really bad experience on almost all points for our supper. The food was mediocre. The miso soup was tepid and apart from 2 pieces of fake crab floating in the bowl, there was no difference between the regular and seafood soups. The...chef specialty they served us was fried in a greasy old tasting batter that was not crisp nor warm. The soft shell crab suffered the same horrible fate and was really disappointing. The redeeming quality of the sushi was the freshness of the salmon, but apart from that, the mushy rice, bad greasy tempura, and small pieces of fish and unfresh vegetable made for some of the worst sushi I've had. The night was a gift by friend through a tuango coupon which we are not familiar with. It claimed we had a meal worth 88$. I would have honestly not paid 20$ for it. The food is better and fresher at a Sushi Shop. We were appalled by the mediocre quality, their claim that it was worth that price (and making us pay for the taxes and a fixed amount of tip they imposed for that full 88$ amount). When we asked questions about it, the exasperated waitress (I'm sure considering the awful quality and horrible deal made more than one client question the bill) explained in a harsh manner the why of the bill. Sensing the tense atmosphere and hearing that we were asking questions, one server (who I'm guessing was part of the restaurant ownership) shooed her away so HE could explain to us how it worked. After this blatant example of mansplanning, we told him that the waitress had clearly been able to explain it, and we left disgusted, dissatisfied and sad of the whole evening and how much negative this whole experience has been. We will never return there.
