Mon Ami Somerled - Montréal

This place is nothing short of amazing. I stumbled on this place with a friend and we had the chance to try the boneless fried chicken with cheese corn along with some fried rice. The fried rice what among the best I ate and the portion of cheese and the corn was just so generous. The chicken was great and the service was impeccable as well! Would recommend any day of the week!

This place is my first ever Korean experience in Montreal. The crew are very nice and polite. They have a wide variety of Korean dishes to choose from. For me, it is a bit pricey to some dishes, but it is worth a try!

I ordered from uber eats, needless to say I am heavily disappointed. I always hear from my friends how MonAmi's fried chicken is one of the best Korean fried chicken in Montreal. I heavily disagree. I ordered the soy garlic boneless chicken. It wasn't crispy at all and was actually kinda spicy which is very odd. I also had an order of the jajangmyeon which I had high hopes for but it was really really bland and flavorless, even a good amount of salt couldn't have fixed this. Almost 50$ spent on this food that I cannot consume. Huuugeee waste of time and money. I do not recommend.

Sadly this was very disappointing thrown in the garbage! Boneless chicken is all white meat spicy which is not mentioned in the menu. $23.99 for about 9 nuggets. Don 't let my picture fool you! Small portion. $9 for a family size fry. Overall, I don 't know what the hype is all about but I do know I just threw $75 down the drain.

Absolutely the best Korean chicken!! Also, the bibimbap and jjamppong are excellent. The food service was good and the server was friendly.
