Mon Ami - Montréal

We heard a lot about the fried chicken and we love Korean food so we gave it a try. We were both very unimpressed. We ordered a few things including the rappoki and fried chicken. The rappoki was bland and sweet, not spicy at all. I had a mishap at home one time, making rappoki, and it turned out exactly like theirs tasted. We usually order this at ganadara and wow, what a difference! The fried chicken was amazingly crispy, sure but oh so bland! It's not illegal to season your chicken, pick up some salt! And the meat was extremely dry, we couldn't even finish it.Nevertheless, this place is always busy so maybe we just ordered the wrong food

I was underwhelmed by the selection and the flavours. It is very popular but it is not my go-to for Korean.

Ordered the sweet chicken and the regular fried chicken and even though both were half portions, Adam and I definitely had enough to go around.

It was really a fun evening. Went with 6 friends on prime dinner time Saturday and there was a wait for about 15 minutes.

The fried chicken here is great, and the cook on it was perfect when I visited.
