Mango Bay - Montréal

Mango Bay is a hidden gem in Montreal. I had a Sangria and curry chicken to knock you socks off.

I wrote a review for Mango Bay's previous location on Bishop street about 2 years back, it's certainly nice to see them move and re-open.

Oxtail is my favourite Caribbean dish. The flavours at this establishment are amazing!! The dining room is simple and small. Never had a problem getting seating. They also deliver. Sooo good!

First time visiting this place and if your looking for authentic Caribbean food, this is where its at. I dined-in and had an ackee and saltfish rice and peas. And for dessert Mango cheesecake. Everything was so good a couple days later I came back and had a take-out veggie stir-fry with plantain. The atmosphere, decor and music is nice and tropical.

Surprisingly, Mango Bay offers more vegetarian options than I expected. My guest and I both ordered vegetarian patties (which had a nice amount of spicy heat to them) along with a main dish of vegetarian rotie (generously filled with a tasty curry). The price was right and the dining room was quite nice. Service could have been a little more quicker though but otherwise the whole experience made for a more-than-decent lunch.
