Contribuiți la feedbackThe food was so good! I was in montreal for a week and went here twice! it was recommended by a local friend who loves it. I had carried out dinner and lunch dine in . I had fried the lamb with green bevelled dumplings and cooked the bark curry dumplings. both had been dipped extra deliciously into the chili oil. I wish I had tried more of her food. that's a great place and I'd go dangerously often here if I lived close. only cash, but they have a cash machine at the entrance.
Really delicious. good service. clean. they are not just soup drink. more how juicy just a little liquid in dumpling
The personal was super friendly. menu has chef recommended symbols when they are uncertain what to order. I've tried a little bit of everything, and I'm trying to get back. really good. born.
Space was very dirty and the cleaning cloth left a stench and watery surface. they could be better to put people, we were 3 and they had a table for 2 and some other chairs in the other tables, but they never tried to put this chair and sit us. they did not ask the customers after us both to sit. eating is good, but again the place is very dirty.
Montréal is popular for dumplings! I suspect due to its geography, northern Chinese cuisine gained popularity in Chinatown. Mai Xiang Yuan is one spot. It resembles a hole in the wall on street side, but its dumpling logo is can’t miss.We tried a plate of 15 steamed dumplings lamb cilantro , along with a platter of 15 fried dumplings pork, cilantro shrimp . The plump steamed dumplings were flavourful with lamb juice, even before dipping in vinegar soy sauce. The thick handmade wrappers were just ideal for such traditional dumplings. The fried dumplings were served with a crispy bottom layer, and included decent amount of pork shrimp. However, the latter was a bit greasy so we left stuffed.Dumpling portions were quite large at reasonable prices. Note the store is cash only, but provides an ATM at the entrance if you’re short on cash. Staff were sure to inform guests this was a no cash no service establishment!
