Contribuiți la feedbackA nice little find in the Montreal neighborhood that I did this last summer. The food was fast, delicious and plentiful in a beautiful environment. My only regret is to be a solo dinner, I would certainly have used another person to help eat the big meal. The Lambry was tenderly disintegrated, so good. It was a nice lunch next day.
Even though their website claims otherwise, bringing your own wine is not allowed at this restaurant. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. The appetizers are delicious and the main course is also tasty. However, the prices are quite steep. We decided to go with the chef's recommendation, but overall, it's not a place I would recommend to visitors. I won't be returning.
My girlfriend and I stayed at this restaurant on Wednesday night and had a wonderful time. We were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly reception we received. The food was delicious, especially the seafood pastilla and Lamb Tajine. As someone familiar with Moroccan cuisine, I would highly recommend them. The Harira soup was flavorful and the dessert was delightful. Overall, our experience was fantastic and we left feeling very satisfied.
Back in Montreal after a year of absence, craving for Morocco food we went to our usual restaurant on Duluth. Surprisingly, we realized that it was no longer in business. We googled for a Moroccan restaurant and came with “L’Olive Noir”. Although it's... far from downtown Montreal, after some we thought we'd give it a chance. It was a very good decision. The Pastilla was excellent... we could even say one of the best we had. The Cous-Cous and the mint tea were good. Prices are very reasonable. And by the way, it is “Bring Your Own Wine”. We'll be back.
