Le Kube - Montréal

Staying at the hotel on business at a conference and had the opportunity to have lunch at Le Kube. Service was slow- despite me telling the hostess and waiter that I only had an hour and was reassured that was more than enough time I had to leave without fully finishing the meal. Was offered water on arrival which I finished before ordering, glass was never refilled (despite a few requests). French opinion soup was delicious! Veal ravioli was quite flavourful and very rich. It was suppose to be served hot but was quite cold by the time it arrived. Menu looked quite diverse - salads, soup, burgers and sandwiches, pizza, seafood, small plates, and full meals. If you are stuck eating at the hotel, it is alright, otherwise I would recommend eating offsite.

I ate here with my daughter while staying at the Bonaventure Hotel. We ordered a pizza and burger that were good. the restaurant had only 2 other occupied tables but We sat there for at least 20 min before a waitress brought us menus and then never brought us napkins, silverware or water until after our food came. The wait for the food and bill was very long, we were there for nearly 2 hours total. The bill for 2 beers, a small pizza and a burger with tip was nearly $80.

Handily situated in the bar area for those not wanting to go out of an evening. Not an extensive menu but reasonably priced

Great relaxed feel yet still upscale Restaurent in Hotel Bonaventure. Very friendly and efficient staff, and food is excellent. My wife had the Angus beef tenderloin, which was cooked to perfection, while I had the gnocchi al Osso Bucco. Simply the best gnocchi dish I’ve had since I had in a long time.

My wife and I were staying at the Hotel Bonaventure and decided to try the onsite restaurant, Le Kube. We found the waitstaff to be attentive and friendly. The prices were a little higher than I like but that is to be expected at a hotel restaurant, at least I find that is so. My wife had the turkey club which was a good size and prepared well with chipotle mayo. I had the arugala salad with shrimp and salmon. The meal was presented nicely and tasted great. Dessert was a chocolate eclair (shared) which looked to be a handmade slab of chocolate on pastry covered with, we think, a hazelnut cream. Not sure, but I think this restaurant replaced either 'Le Castillion' or 'Le Belvedere' which have already been reviewed on Trip Advisor.
