Contribuiți la feedbackI attended a Yelp Elite event at this restaurant about 1.5 years ago and tried a variety of dishes, all of which were exceptional.
Burger: The burger I ordered was dry and overcooked. The bread was stale and overall, it was a disappointing meal. Service: The service was slow and inattentive. Our server seemed disinterested and we had to wait a long time for our food and drinks. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The food quality and service were both subpar.
This is a quaint little restaurant found below Pho Lien and Talay Thai that we stumbled across last Saturday. It looks like it can handle maximum 25 people but there is a room at the back that could hold another 25 more. We were served by the owner who was patient, friendly and very informative regarding the various dishes we were curious about. One of the meals we ordered was a shrimp paste and she explained exactly how it should be eaten and my my it was delicious. The prices are great and the portions are excellent. I am definitely suggesting this restaurant to other people.Sidenote: They are closed between the hours of 3pm-5pm to prepare for second service which is until 9pm
My friend and I split two Table d’Hotes. As she doesn’t like spicy food, we ordered mild dishes. They were good, but too mild for me (not the restaurant’s fault). We had shrimp in a ginger sauce, and some kind of chicken with vegetables (not sure which item it was on the menu...see below). It was all very good. I had an imperial roll, which I really liked. It was very large – the size of at least 2 normal spring rolls. What I didn’t like was the menu – there was no description, only menu listings such as “chicken with vegetables.” I had to ask the waitress to explain what was in each dish, what kind of sauce it had, etc., and after she explained a few, I couldn’t remember one from another.Service was ok. The decor was not inspiring. I would prefer a place with more atmosphere.
Finally. A taste. of authentic Asian food!4 years ago I travelled all over south Asia and finally, only now, have I found something that tasted like I was there again. This was it.Amazing food, amazing service, really nice staff. GO!We got the crepe (this crispy rice flour tasting egg omelet filled with chicken (or pork),? bean sprouts and love), the dry soup (warm rice noodles in amazing slightly sweet sauce with pork, shrimp, coriander, squid, etc bowl of HOME MADE warm broth on the side), and the som tam papaya salad (a spicy, garlic, lime juice refreshing salad with crushed peanuts and hint of fish sauce infused properly). Amazing 3 dishes to share for 2. Very reasonable prices, and the nice waiter made us want to tip lots extra anyways. They are also apparently in the process of changing to BYOB! even better!
