La Mie Matinale - Montréal

This afternoon, I found myself in Papineau feeling very hungry since I had missed breakfast. I was drawn to a café by its name and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor. Everything on the menu looked delicious and fresh, especially the sweets. I decided to try a chicken sandwich with a coffee latte, and I was not disappointed. The sandwich was unique and unlike any I had tried before. I am excited to return to the café and sample their baked goods as well. It's a great spot for a quick coffee and snack.

I agree with the previous reviews about the man working behind the counter (who I believe is the owner.) I visited the restaurant once and his poor customer service skills made me never want to return.

I randomly decided to check out this charming café after noticing its clever name. I was immediately drawn to the display of freshly baked muffins at the back of the shop. They were large and topped with delicious flavors like double chocolate and carrot. I can't wait to enjoy one with my morning coffee.

The brunch spot was beautiful, relaxed, and had a fantastic atmosphere! The owners were very friendly. The only downside was that the wifi didn't work as expected, with the network not showing up on my phone.

Used to order the Authentic Dresdner Chrisstollen Every year.. but alas, this year we will have to go without. La Mie Matinale is one of Thee Finest Bakeries in North America, Truly Magnificent :
