Haru Hana - Montréal

I have eaten here a few times. Everything has been tasty, but nothing really stands out. Small and can be crowded so many of the orders are to go The woman running the place is not welcoming or particularly friendly.

This little restaurant is across the street from my office so you could say I'm a regular. Every item is made to the minute and delicious. I have never been disappointed. I especially love the rice cakes though, if I'm honest. The only little critique...I have is that the ventilation is inadequate and unfortunately, you walk out of there and your clothes smell of food enough to be noticeable. No need to do without because of that though, just order by phone and take it to go from November to April if that bothers you!

This small restaurant is not on a street on which many people walk since St-Catherine street is just south so this is why you may not have noticed it but it is worth walking to; it is quite near Berri-UQAM subway station so easy to...get to. The service is attentive and efficient and I've really enjoyed the food that I have eaten there: either ramen soup or Udon noodles. I will try other things. Indeed the portions are not huge as you may find in Thai or Chinese chain type restaurants, but rather here the quality is much better and you get a perfect size plate, well enough to feed you. The prices are reasonable, you can see them on the website. In a nutshell, it is much better than chain restaurant type food and you get quick and efficient service, so it is worth a try!

My wife and I stopped into this little restaurant for a quick bite to eat. The young host was very helpful in warning us about spicy or hot food. My wife had to dumpling soup with chicken and I had the udong noodles with beef....We each had a drink and left the restaurant owing less than Good portions, good food, and worth the visit. The restaurant is small and if you walk fast you might miss it so walk slow and check it out.
