Ginkgo Café - Montréal

It’s a lovely brunch spot serving eclectic Canadian fare in a chic, open room with lots of natural light.I loved the food and the portions were fair, not too big, not too small. Their Benedict eggs are mouthwatering. I had the Florentine ones and my friends had the Smoked Salmon, Smoked Meat and the Meat Lover ones. They were all delicious.Would definitely recommend it for a lovely brunch!

We came here for brunch on a Sunday and the cafe was pretty full but not completely packed. It took more than 30mins for our food to come, we didn’t order anything too special but just two of the Benedicts on the menu and mimosas but we even saw people who came after us got their order before us which is confusing. The vibe of the cafe is pretty nice and pretty but the food was okay nothing too remarkable. Don’t think I’ll come back because there are more places worth going ti for brunch.

What a fantastic place to have brunch. The food is incredibly good (had the omelette) and reasonably priced. The coffee is strong enough to give me the jitters (excellent). The kitchen was a tiny bit slow today, but worth the wait. I will be back.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, but not so sure about vegan.

Not gonna lie. We went to the cafe almost in the end time of the resto. So food is very cold and dry. But the ambience and place is perfect as its very near to St. Catherine. Would like to try some other

I regret to say that the service I received was the worst I've ever experienced. It was quite disrespectful. I had a reservation for 11:30, but I didn't receive my meal until around 13:00. I understand that you might be busy, but what about your customers? Do you think we don’t have lives of our own? We had a brunch reservation, so why couldn't you manage it better? The atmosphere was incredibly noisy and chaotic, lacking control. The only positive aspect was the food, which I appreciate, so thank you to the kitchen for that. However, for $29 each, I expected much better.
