The terrain is hilly and beautiful. We had to start our game at 6:00 and were asked to take two hours to play the front nine to give the maintenance staff time to work their magic, so we had to slow down. The starters and shop staff were fantastic. The course is cost-effective and we will definitely return for all of the above reasons.
This summer played half a dozen times there. Not so long from the whites. Interesting lay with fairways on and off some hills, some fairways go through a very narrow throat, very hard rough with long dense grass. The food is good and... her terrace gives on a stunning water cascade with the emblem to one side. Nice touch. There are 36 holes on this course, my favorite is Ireland. Average difficulty. Fairways and Greens were in great shape early in the season.
This is an annual can't miss course when I go to Montreal, especially the Irish course. It's links style, very challenging, and very well maintained. Green fees are reasonable, and there's a second 18 at the site, which is also challenging and a good layout....Highly recommend.
My colleague and I recently had a fantastic round of golf at the Ireland course at Club de l'Ile de Montreal. Making online reservations was simple and the club even called to confirm, which was a nice touch. The green fees were very reasonable and we had no trouble finding carts and a starting time. The Ireland course is truly a gem, ranked 13th out of the top 100 golf courses in Canada. The clubhouse is well-maintained and the service was top-notch. Overall, this is a fantastic golf course and I look forward to playing here again.
This establishment is advertised as a restaurant, but in reality, it is a golf club with two courses. We had reserved a tee time for the Iceland course, but were mistakenly placed on the Ireland course. Despite the confusion, everything went smoothly and we enjoyed a pleasant round of golf. Both courses were very well maintained. We were paired with two local golfers who were familiar with the course and shared helpful tips with us. They mentioned that many of the rough areas had been trimmed back to improve playability. It was beneficial to receive advice from the locals, especially on some blind shots. Make sure to bring your own water as we didn't notice any water stations along the course.
