Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant has a very basic setting, with no outdoor sign to indicate its presence. However, despite this, the food is excellent and the service is friendly. The staff is helpful and willing to make recommendations. We tried the shrimp and chicken Pad Thai, which was delicious with generous portions (perhaps even too much). The Imperial rolls were also very tasty. Overall, it was a great place for a quick lunch with my daughter.
I often order takeout sushi from this restaurant since I live nearby. It's a convenient and budget-friendly option. While it may not be very upscale, the food is good. It has a cozy neighborhood restaurant vibe. Being located on Ontario street, it's less crowded than restaurants on Ste Catherine street. You definitely get what you pay for here.
You don't go there for a romantic dinner, however the food is very good. The spring rolls with peanut sauce are very fresh and tasty. The won ton soup has a sweet taste. The General Tao is delectable. It is a family restaurant and the service is alway done with kindness and smile. I went there for several occasions and I have never been disppointed.
My partner and I visited Chez An two years ago during our trip to Montreal and decided to give it another try. The restaurant is located on Rue Ontario E, just a short walk north of the Beaudry Metro station and the gay village. The prices here are a bit lower compared to other places in the area. This time, we decided to go for the Table d'hôte menu, which included an appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert. It was a great decision and the price was reasonable. Just like our previous visit, the food was delicious. We definitely plan on returning next time we're in Montreal.
Chez An is a friendly, neighbourhood restaurant serving good Vietnamese food. We were on our way to Usine C for a show and decided to have an early dinner at Chez An. I ordered 2 Imperial Rolls and a small Rare Beef Pho. I was not disappointed. My husband ordered the Table D'Hote Stir-Fried Shrimp with Peanut Sauce and Mushrooms. He loved it! He especially liked the fried spinach that came with the main dish. This is not a fancy restaurant but it's clean and the service is friendly. After we left our server (part owner? came running after us. My husband left his sunglasses on the table and they were being returned. It was a very nice gesture. Chez An is not in a touristy area but we will return if we're in the area.
