Candide - Montréal

I enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of this restaurant, where you can have a genuine conversation with friends. I would definitely come back and recommend it to everyone! I appreciate the cuisine and the philosophy behind it. John WR makes a real effort to reduce food waste.

We were treated as honored guests/friends. The chef went way out of his way to give us an excellent experience despite my dietary issues. If you find yourself in Montreal, don’t leave without experiencing the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere of this gem.

Candide was a great restaurant with great food. I'm no fan of lentils, but when a restaurant's kitchen is able to cook lentils in such a way where they're super tasty I'm sold. I personally found it a little expensive for what you get, but it was still a good experience overall.
