Contribuiți la feedbackWe were three to celebrate my son's 30th birthday. From the start we had a very friendly welcome and then we were well looked after throughout our meal. Although they had menu options, they were very flexible and even suggested changes so that the choices were made to our liking. The appetizer with bruschetta and polenta was great followed by a very good well seasoned radicchio salad. My main course was risotto with shrimp which was marvelous (my son had osso bucco and my wife had the liver dish also very good). The waiter also recommended a very good wine. We were served a dessert which consisted of panna cotta and chocolate cake, and of course a perfect espresso. We all enjoyed our meal in this very pleasant restaurant. I am looking forward to go back again for business or for pleasure. It is truly my favorite restaurant in Montreal.
We went to Ristorante Boccone with a friend who goes there regularly. We may have gotten slightly special treatment because of that, but the other guests also seemed to feel at home. Our meals were delicious (salad, pasta, and dessert all excellent). The waiter selected a very good wine (our friend no longer bothers to look at the wine list). Well worth the trip up St-Laurent.

I had a great Cesar salad with anchovies. My main course was a veal Marsala that was delicious with a side of pasta. I asked for spaghetti and got something else. Not major, but wrong.
As we know, dining is more than the food. It's also the service and the surroundings, that is, the restaurant itself. This is a truly beautiful restaurant and it sets the scene for a fine, meal and this is delivered as well. The owner may come out and chat with you and to make sure that everything is to your liking. On our visit, it was warm outside but the restaurant (no surprise) was air conditioned. You can't go wrong.
