Bistro du marché - Montréal

Have been here a few times and never disappointed. First the fact that you don't have to wait in line to get a table is a BIG plus for me. It's a nice, clean and satisfying establishment. We had the standard eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, toast , patatoes, coffee and fruit for $9.00 This is my breakfast place and it's perfect!

A good bistro with very good atmosphere and very good service.The food is good,not exceptional and generous portions(too much for my taste).It is breakfast and lunch only.The menu is varied and you can pretty much find all you need for breakfast or lunch...The breakfast are better than the lunch fare...but lunches are also fine.The best part is the service.It is staffed by professional no nonsense waitress that take care of you...these are not part timers on their way to becoming actresses or models or students.These are top notch diner,bistro waitresses. You can be in of the place and out in no time...Very airy and comfortable with high ceilings. Been here a few times and it never lets you down

This was always a diner type of place but now they have streamlined the menu and jacked up the prices. There are better options out there (i.e. l'oeufrier or even eggspectations) when you reach 14 or 15$ for a plate. To top it off the accompanying overripe fruits feel like they were on the counter since the crack of dawn.

I love this hidden little gemCute little bistro hidden in Marche Central right next to the movie theaters.

Nice place, good food, good food! Nothing special about this place other than being not one of those big breakfast chains.
