Beautiful place with a beautiful vue of the saint laurent river from the terrasse. The menu was very good an we had a 3 course meal including coffee. The portions were very big and the tiramisu a delight. The service was also great . Nice place to have lunch on a sunny day .

There were four of us for a mid-week lunch, out in the lovely weather on a very pleasant terrace, overlooking the lake. There were a few free tables, and we were served in a timely fashion. The menu was quite extensive, with pasta dishes, various pizzas, and salads. We ordered a jug of sangria,that was actually served in a large mason jar, which was a bit difficult to pour, but, never the less, we were able to enjoy two glasses each, even tho' it was overpriced $(28.00) The food itself was very tasty, and two of us ordered the pasta, and two of us ordered an eggplant roll with a cheese filling, surrounded by a tomato sauce. Yummy! Our dessert was 2 mini cannolis each, dainty and tasty. A very delightful time was had by all, but I found it a bit pricey for the amount of food we had;however the ambience and good weather made up for the bill!

We were 7 without reservations on a Friday night , and the place was pretty full,yet we still managed to get a table.The food was very good,soup looked delicious, salad was average. A friend had onion soup and he raved about it.Table d'hote had a limited choice but the veal was excellent. I had pizza calabrese and it too was delicious.

Was there for a birthday celebration for a 94 year old neighbour, we were several age groups. From the beginning, the waitresses were not professional. They never answered our message for a change in the numbers of diners, and they said if you called we got it.We finally got a waiter, that was very nice but not professional for this type of restaurant. We all ordered finally, I had the tagliatelle with a ragu sauce, i got a fettucine meat sauce (nothing that was explained on the menu,) other people got a trio of pasta, and apart from the Penne Arrabiata, did not like the other pastas, tortellini cream sauce, and spaghetti pesto sauce. We got our appetizers, and the dishes were taken away, finally one of the original waitresses came to the table, and asked us are you waiting or something else, and we said yes the main meals, the plates were not hot, and food ordinary. They did give us a Sambucca to compensate, but still would not go back.

Saturday night we were driving around Lachine looking for a nice restaurant. We decided to stop at Andrea restaurant because it was in front of the water and it seemed like a good place to eat. I was disappointed from the beginning till the end of the meal.We were 3 people (my husband, my 13yr old daughter and I.) First of all I was not too sure where the entrance was. it was not indicated. Second, once inside I did not know if I had to wait to be seated or go myself. I waited a few minutes than someone came to see me and we were seated.SERVICE: We were disappointed about the service. From the moment we sat until the moment we payed...we saw the waitress 3 times at the most. She did not come to see us to ask how our meals was, she did not bring us the bill (some other waiter came instead.) The service was very slow. it took forever between meals.MEAL: another disappointment...I got a salad with no dressing. I asked 1 of the waiters for salad dressing. I did not get it. I looked out for our waitress and asked her if I can have some salad dressing. it took a while before she brought it. My husband ordered the fish of the day. His fish was cold and had no taste. it was just very oily. My daughter ordered the pesto pasta. they really need to learn how to make pesto pasta. It was just full of oil with small flakes of basilic. it did not even taste of pesto. the tiramisu...what a shame...it was more like some kind of pudding...it was disgusting to look at and not tasty. Everything we ordered was tasteless. soo disappointed. Overall rating is TERRIBLE. It's overpriced, it's a very loud place. you can barely talk and it's worst when the guitarist is around, the service was the worst I ever had. And the food is TERRIBLE.Lesson learned...always look up the ratings of the restaurant before spontaneously showing up!
