Les 40 Degres - Montpellier

We've been here for my husband's birthday with our baby girl and it is always difficult to find a restaurant where the food is particularly tasty and somehow sophisticated but you succeed accomodating your child as well. We found the menu du soir really delicious...(mmmh, that salmon in entrée and that filet mignon as main) but we also found the atmosphere to be a bit selective but not intimidating as it could happen elsewhere. They really tried to do the best for the baby as well so she was pretty quiet and cool. Beside you get everything you wanted, a presentation of each dish with everything there is in it. I guess we will return.

We dined here in december Good but not great food, we sat in the entrance of the restaurant, its almost an annexe and lacks atmosphere, is this the naughty corner!!. The service was good but the food was not particularly hot. The music played...was Ella Fitzgerald and we heard it four times. Doubtful we would visit again when there are many good restaurants.

Moderne Küche in klassischem Ambiente!Die kleine Terrasse verrät nicht den tollen klimatisierten Innenbereich. Stein und Holz mit passendem Mobiliar ergeben eine gemütliche und edle Atmosphäre.Nach einem herzlichen Empfang hat man uns sogar die Gerichte erklärt (da wir nicht alle Zutaten der Menus auf Französisch verstanden). Es gab einen mal etwas anders hausgebeizten Lachs, ein leckeres Schwertfischtartar mit Mango und Zucchetti an einem Zuckerschoten-Feldsalat und einen mageren Schweinebauch ohne Schwarte mit asiatisch angehauchter Marinade. Lecker!!Man merkt den Gerichten an, dass der Koch mit viel Liebe arbeitet!

We had a delicious meal that played on classic pairings with a twist, very successfully. Prosciutto chips in a fresh melon gaspacho, a delicious alternative grains risotto with creamy zucchini, several other dishes that didn't disappoint at all. The desserts were good but a little weaker. Still, an excellent address at a very fair price. The outdoor terrace isn't very inspiring, but the indoor space is lovely.

Cadre très monacale, ambiance un peu froide ,service rapide et plutôt efficace peu de monde pour un vendredi soir(les autres terrasses pleines a craqués)les plats plutôt bon mais le prix exorbitant des plats ne se justifies absolument pas sans parler du prix des vins qui frôle le vol !!!!!!gros budget et pas de grosse surprise ,sauf au moment de l additioncommentaires très surévaluésensemble décevantnous ne referont jamais
