Beer O'clock - Montpellier

Really good selection of beers with something for everyone. Good meat and cheese platters and very friendly staff. Pouring beer looks easy until you get a lively one!

Great selection of craft beers on tap plus lots more in bottles and cans. I particularly like Thai Thai from Dutch brewery Oedipus — very inventive use of coriander and ginger aromas. You charge up a card and can serve yourself as much or as little of each beer. Each beer is charged by volume consumed. Great tasting them all! The plate of ham at 10 euros was very generous too.

A lovely bar that is modern but has a great feel. They have cask ales on draft which you dispense yourself via a pre pay card. Lots of selection and also a large range of bottled beers too. The food is simple boards but great value. A real find that’s worth a visit.

Franchise to the really pleasant concept: free shooters thanks to a debit system on a card that you previously charged the amount you want. drums change regularly, so it is possible to taste different things every time you arrive!
