Auberge de l'Etable - Montory

It may be the only restaurant in town but it is also the best....not joking. Michel the owner is a delight, the service splendid but it's the food that is the real star. Local, fresh, reasonable, and lovingly presented. Great place to see the locals also and to enjoy their lives.

Local starter "grabure" to get you warmed up, another starter with trout to continue and the main dish that was delicious, it all sums up to a nice evening in a small village of Montory. It is wise to make a reservation because week-end can get crowded!

Not many places to enjoy in this region so this one which is known to be good was full when we arrived Friday night (with a reservation).Good menu options with heartwarming soup, good veal dish and local fish. Chocolate cake was good and so was the Koka.Nice if you are in the region

The restaurant is nice. Tasty and varied food in a nice environment. However the rooms are not that comfortable. The bed was rather strange and bumpy. The toilet is very basic.
