It was a return after the pandemic although we came a few times to the Bistro a few times in the last few months. Everything was perfect : staff was welcoming and helpful, the menu was well balanced and the food from start to finish was excellent, specially the pigeon. Highly recommended
The frame is beautiful. The dishes are tasty and hearty. service is discreet and effective. A very good time with the family.
Our first exit after the containment. apprehension, dissipated. always this horrible welcome. always this precise and courteous service. and, in the plate, this festival of colours, perfumes and taste. We have been regaled, wine agreements included.
The desire to change air for the holy sylvestre. random (or not) that leaves a table empty. And here we go to the castle of St. Jean in Montluçon. a just beautiful and delicate setting in its renovation. And in the evening, dinner at the end of the year at the restaurant the chapel.Passage by the bar and its great chimney for an aperitif animated by a singer/guitarist who returns us back to years with gentleness.Then, we are accompanied to this chapel that marvels us with its rehabilitation and its half copper bell ceiling, half resile. What to say is the remarkable quality of service, the dishes, and the environment if it is only all that helps to exhilarate the gustative discovery that will be offered to us for rare hours: lobster, ravioli, bresse pos with foie gras, bebu with risotto and truffle, desserts, all mixing savacious spices, spitting vegetables, acidulted accompaniments. A suspended moment that we had pleasure in expressing to the star chef, olive tree Vallade.A detour not to be missed.
A very good greeting by young high-quality recruits, bravo the youth and continue like that.
