Domaine de Lascaux - Montignac

To visit the Lascaux 4, we have found this guest room through the tourist office, despite an ideal setting and a big potential of the buildings we are very disappointed the common room is broken down wallpapers oldillot see arraché, the room at 90e is old wallpapers of the 80s, carpet on the ground exceeded, given for 4/5 people we have occupied it only with two but no gestures. breakfast any no fruit or dairy or even butter, bad coffee. accustomed to bed and breakfasts often far less expensive this one is not worth at all the requested price, we do not recommend.

Just delicious potiron soup, just perfect enchaud accompanied by a dauphinois gratin that my grandmother could have come out of my grandmother's kitchen, superb organic goat cheese and apple pie to finish on a little sweet and perfectly balanced note. the room will need to redo a beauty undoubtedly, but I trust this young couple to find the right decorative agreement so that the kitchen looks like the room. Typical dishes of the perigord: omelette with truffles or cepes, foie gras, magret, enchaud, goose neck stuffed etc. served in a simple way in a superb setting with views of the valley of the vezere. warm welcome from the owners. it is better to book a room to stay on site in the guest rooms to enjoy it to the maximum-:)

Arrival a little early but despite this warm welcome. a dinner out on the terrace with a view of the incredible valley and in a relaxing calm. The dinner was up to the top with a good goose neck with foie gras. Good Viennese at breakfast.
