Pink Heifer Saloon Smokehouse

I have witnessed several transformations of this restaurant over the past 50 years, and this is by far the most beautiful one. One of the owners greeted us warmly upon our arrival and was extremely charming. The long bar, located on the main street side, has been completely renovated and now includes a small stage and plenty of cocktail seats. The menu is excellent, but I do have a few suggestions: 1) The side dish could benefit from a fresh green bean vegetable option. 2) The pulled boar was fantastic, but I would prefer to have the BBQ sauce on the side so I can control the amount. 3) The fries were delicious, but it would have been nice to have napkins on the table. The service was also excellent. We will definitely be coming back!

We found an amazing restaurant across the street! The grill was fantastic and the staff was so friendly. The ribs and brisket were amazing. We especially loved the decor in the bar area. Excellent job! We will definitely be returning.

This barbeque joint is giving all the other restaurants in Dane County a run for their money. The food is absolutely delicious.

The brisket was delicious and the service was fantastic. I can't wait to go again.
